FILLING MACHINE AND WRAPPING MATERIAL

A machine for filling liquid food in a packaging container (9), simplifying the operation of an input unit and capable of filling a liquid food accurately, is provided. This machine has a reader (25) for reading information on a set wrapping material (10) from a layer of a magnetic recording medium in the wrapping material (10), a seal unit (7) for sealing the wrapping material (10), and a filling unit (8) for filling liquid food supplied thereto. The machine also has a filling machine controller adapted to output a command signal to the seal unit (7) and filling unit (8) in accordance with a preset program and on the basis of the information on the wrapping material (10) and liquid information on the liquid food which are sent from the reader (25). The filling machine is adapted to read necessary information on the wrapping material (10) from a layer of a magnetic recording medium when liquid food is to be filled, fill the liquid food in the container (9) on the basis of the information on the wrapping material (10) and liquid information, and seal the wrapping material (10).
