A holding device (10) for a solid urinal or toilet bowl treatment bodies (18) including a detergent, a deodorant or a sanitizing agent, the device being attachable to the inside vertical wall (12) of a lavatory appliance (14) in a position below influent water passages of the appliance, so that a turbulent flow of flush water across the body is created. The holding device includes a fastening plate, a perforated container mounted on the fastening plate for retaining the solid composition. A fastener is provided for fastening the device to the lavatory appliance, so that the device is exposed to a direct flow of flush water from the influent passages. |
