A pet drinking dish including a steeped interior forming an interior shoulder, upon which rests a screen for preventing the consumption of animals, such as dogs, of pet hairs and dirt settling on the bottom of the dish. The dish also features a locking mechanism for the screen and a hollow interior for selectively weighting the drinking dish.
