Compounds of formula (I), in which A is an optionally substituted aryl group; A' is an optionally substituted aryl group; B is a carbonyl group or a methylene group which is substituted by optionally substituted hydroxy and an optional further substituent; X is an optionally substituted alkylene chain of 2 to 4 carbon atoms, in which two optional substituents on any one carbon can form an oxo or optionally substituted imino group; and R<7> is heterocyclyl, aryl, silyl, alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, alkynyl, cycloalkenyl, amino, hydroxy, mercapto, each of which is optionally substituted or is hydrogen, cyano or acyl and in which when B is substituted by optionally substituted hydroxy, the substituent on the hydroxy can form a ring with either R<7> or with the other optional substituent on B, have fungicidal activity, especially against phytopathogenic fungi. |
