Starting with a foundation plate 1, it is structured on the basis of a plurality of uprights 2-2' which are fixed around the periphery of the plate 1 in a zig-zag path, these vertical uprights 2-2' being made rigid with one another by means of crosspieces 5, suitably distributed in height, and by means of a lattice-type covering structure which also supports the roof proper. This metal structure, based on rolled steel profiles, is complemented with high-density phenolic panels 8 which are fitted to the inner face of the structure and are fixed thereto by gluing using high-strength polyurethanes, all such that the silo has an approximately rectangular prismatic configuration, but with wide chamfers on its vertical edges or corners and with wide triangular vertical grooves 4 along the whole of both its large lateral faces and its small lateral faces. <IMAGE> |
