It consists of a line composed of a belt 2 which, at one end, incorporates a plant 3 for metering out water, silos 4 of raw materials and additives, means for supplying shavings, fibres and/or spars, and a machine for kneading and metering-out on a continuous basis which discharges onto the upper belt 2 which, in combination with the lower belt 7 presses the product over a path sufficient for setting, until it reaches means 10 for cutting and milling the edges. The belts 2 and 7 have longitudinal profiles for forming the "galces" (templates) of the plates to be obtained. <IMAGE>
