The subject of the present invention is an anti-theft device for transport containers. It consists of a removable casing (1) which covers the locks or padlocks locking shut the doors (5) of the container (6) or the body of the lorry (7), this casing, connected to a central alarm, being held in place using a metal support welded or bolted onto the lock or the padlock and onto which it is applied using permanent magnets so that one or more microcontacts are actuated so long as the said casing remains in place, withdrawing it actuating the alarm by releasing the microcontact or microcontacts. It may be suited to all types of mobile enclosures used for conveying merchandise but it is especially intended for road transport vehicles and in particular for lorries and trailers for carrying containers. <IMAGE> |
