<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer device capable of reading information from a tag in a short time with a simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: When reading information showing ink consumption amounts of ink cartridges 22a-22d respectively recorded by a plurality of tags 36-39, an information read instruction and an ID specifying each the tag 36-39 are converted into a wireless signal and are transmitted. Thereby, the wireless signal can be transmitted to all the tags 36-39 at a time by one transmission antenna 54 and one transmission circuit 55.
