<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photopolymerizable composition and a lithographic printing plate precursor excellent in printing durability and image forming property and suitable for drawing with laser light. <P>SOLUTION: The photopolymerizable composition contains a binder polymer having a repeating unit represented by formula (I), a sensitizing dye having an absorption maximum at a wavelength of 300-600 nm, a polymerization initiator and a polymerizable compound. The lithographic printing plate precursor has a photosensitive layer comprising the photopolymerizable composition on a support. In the formula (I), R<SP>1</SP>represents H or methyl; R<SP>2</SP>represents a linking group which contains two or more atoms selected from the group consisting of C, H, O, N and S atoms and in which the total number of atoms is 2-82; A represents O or -NR<SP>3</SP>-, R<SP>3</SP>represents H or a 1-10C monovalent hydrocarbon group; and n represents an integer of 1-5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
