Metal foil-free cover film for covering over press-through packages, the cover film including at least one film of polyolefin-based or polyester-based thermoplastic material, the thermoplastic material having 5 to 50 % by weight of fillers. The cover film may, if appropriate, be sealed with the aid of a sealing layer onto a bottom part of a press-through or blister package. The cover film is inflexible to such an extent that the content of the package can be pressed through the film.
