摘要

The apparatus for controlled depth machining, has a body consisting of two mutually axially slidable parts 8, 9 with a drilling tool 2; part 8 is for mounting on a machine-tool, and the other part 9 has a work presser 5 with a drill guide. The drill is centralised by elastic means 23 in part 8. The presser and guide are applied initially to the work and the drill is then applied, the relative stroke between the two sliding parts being longer than the drilling stroke of the tool.
