<p>A multi-bolt door lock possesses a mortise lock case (2) provided with key and handle actuation and having a lock bolt (5) laterally extendable from this and a further espagnolette bolt (6) which can be extended upwards out of the door leaf (1) and is under the effect of a spring (10) and which is to be retracted as a result of the actuation of the handle follower (17) and detained in its retracted position by a shift latch (11) which, in the closing position of the leaf, is to be disengaged by striking against the fixed door frame (7) and thereby releases the espagnolette bolt (6) for its extension movement. In order to bring about especially deep locking engagements in the closing position of the door leaf with comparatively little effort from outside, especially also simply by actuating an outer key, and prevent the possibility of maloperations of the shift latch, the lock bolt (5) and the espagnolette bolt (6) are connected to one another in drive terms and are to be adjusted jointly with a comparatively large stroke by inner-handle and outer-key actuation, the shift latch (11) being arranged on the leaf top edge in the exit region of the espagnolette bolt (6).
