Provided is an inorganic fiber aggregate which has high strength, is less prone to open, is also less prone to suffer wind erosion, and further can be suitably used for a honeycomb structure. An inorganic fiber aggregate which is composed of inorganic fibers and an inorganic material, characterized in that the inorganic material is adhered to a part of the surface of the above inorganic fiber and the inorganic fibers are adhered to one another via the inorganic material.
