<p>Method for manufacturing thin-walled tubes, in which a strip of fluorinated resin, especially of polytetrafluoroethylene, in the raw state, obtained especially by lubricated extrusion and calendering, is wound around a mandrel, the winding of the strip being carried out as a plurality of layers, the strip thus wound around the mandrel is raised to a temperature above the gelling temperature of the fluorinated resin for a period sufficient for causing the gelling, the tube (4) and the mandrel (5) are cooled down and the mandrel located inside the tube is extracted, characterised in that after the step consisting in cooling down the tube and the mandrel, and before the step consisting in extracting the mandrel located inside the tube, the tube held on the mandrel undergoes a rolling process.
