A refrigerator is provided to prevent a temperature of an ice-making compartment from affecting a temperature of a refrigerating compartment by separately defining the ice-making compartment in the refrigerating compartment, thereby separately controlling temperatures of the ice-making compartment and the refrigerating compartment. A refrigerator main body(1) has a refrigerating compartment(3) at an upper part and a freezer compartment(5) at a lower part. An ice-making compartment(20) is formed in the refrigerating compartment, being defined by an additional insulation partition, and has an ice machine making ice and an ice storing unit storing ice made by the ice machine. At least one or more heat exchangers are installed as parts of a heat exchange cycle generating cool air for setting up temperatures of the refrigerating compartment and the freezer compartment. A dispenser(29) is installed at a door, being connected with the ice storing unit.
