The apparatus for removing the paper jam by intermitting the rotation of the developer includes a clutch spring (4) intermitting the driving power delivered to ribs (2',3') of gears (2,3), and a spring (11) connected to the main body and an upper side of a hub limiting lever (9). When opening an upper frame (13), a projected rib (13') pushes the lever downward to be caught to the a projector (5') of a hub (5) but not to be caught when closing it so that the paper jam occurred between a pressing (8) and a heating (6) rollers are removed.
