This decorative hair slide comprises a flat conical base (10) and a corresponding elastic plate (20). The base comprises a corrugated rectangular plate (14) placed in a longitudinal recess and a square tubular casing (11) with a horizontal slot (12) and a pair of rectangular recesses (13) on the top. The elastic plate comprises an elongate elliptical recess (26), a pair of pressable centres (25) in the vicinity of the two ends of the elliptical recess, and a rectangular plug-in piece (21) with a pair of elastic clips (23) which are rectangular and spaced and which will easily combine with the square tubular casing in a snap-type fastening arrangement.
