The invention relates to compositions intended for application to the skin, comprising from 0.05 to 10% of Kalinine. These compositions are for cosmetic and pharmaceutical use. The invention also relates to a method for counteracting skin aging and to the use of a pharmaceutical composition for application to the skin.
