It is disclosed a method for processing a memo function using a telephone including the steps of: sequentially displaying a stored mode content according to the next key-input in case a memo mode is selected in a pause state; inputting a character key signal according to the memo content in case the memo mode is selected in a talk state; and storing the content of the memo according to the input character key signal and displaying it.
