The present invention relates to a facade framework for any building whatsoever as well as to a building produced with the aid of such a framework. This facade framework made of wood or some other material comprises two posts (7) and two rails, respectively a top rail (9) and a bottom rail (sill plate) (8) defining a first right-angled quadrilateral, and is characterised in that it comprises linear elements defining, within and in the plane of the first quadrilateral, a second right-angled quadrilateral (10), the sides (11, 12) of which are unidirectionally extended (11a, 12a) and fixed by two opposite vertical sides (11, 11a) respectively to the top rail (9) and to the sill plate (8), and by the two other opposite horizontal sides (12, 12a) to the two posts (7) respectively. Such a facade framework makes it possible to produce any modular building whatsoever. <IMAGE>
