This device comprises a casing (1) containing a lamp and to which a cover lens is fixed in a leaktight manner, and is of the type comprising a duct (2) integral with the casing (1), which connects the interior with the exterior. It is noteworthy in that - the duct extends along a general downward direction along one wall of the casing (1) and is bounded by the said wall and a plug (6) of complementary shape; - the duct communicates with the interior of the casing (1) via a passage (5) provided in its upper region, and with the exterior via an opening (20) of cross-section smaller than that of the duct; - it comprises an emergent tube (3) projecting downwards inside the duct, which has a cross-section smaller than that of the duct (2), this tube (3) being connected to at least one lateral wall (110) of the duct; - it is equipped with an element forming a screen (4), arranged in line with the lower opening (32) of the tube (3), at a distance therefrom and inside the duct (2), and a plate-shaped projection (7) arranged between the passage (5) and the lower opening (32) of the tube (3), this projection connecting with the wall of the duct (2) and extending only over a part of the depth of the latter.
