Method of casting a liquid polyester resin B, vertically or at an angle of incidence of 30 DEG , between two sheets of glass A, A', the liquid polyester resin incorporating the inclusion of a rigid or rigidified object C for the purposes of forming, after the resin has set (approximately 24 hours), a one-piece panel of an instructional and also a decorative nature. Plastic keepers D, adhesively bonded all around the sheets of glass completely seal the panel. The objects included in the resin between the sheets of glass may, preferably, be geographical relief maps which can be used for teaching in schools or for tourism, or printed fabrics, whether in relief or not, which can be used as a decoration or as furnishing. <IMAGE>
