The device is noteworthy in that it comprises a support structure (3) fixed to the receptacle around a passage opening (2.1) to allow the penetration of one or more rods (7) inside the receptacle, the said support structure allowing the positioning of a shock and vibration absorbing unit (4) clamped on a sleeve (5), the said sleeve protruding on both sides of the said support structure and of the said shock absorbing unit in order, on the one hand, to form the support base of a vibrating apparatus (6) and, on the other hand, to protrude inside the receptacle in the form of one or more profiled rods (7) capable of transmitting vibrations into the mass of granular or pulverulent products stored in the receptacle in order to obtain arching prevention effects, the assembly of sleeve and profiled rods being isolated from the receptacle or similar. <IMAGE>
