<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image ensuring excellent image quality and color developing property in flash fixation by using vinyl resin of a specified particle diameter contg. an IR absorber in the surface. CONSTITUTION:A vinyl monomer is mixed with an IR absorber and polymerized or vinyl resin particles of <=1mum average particle diameter are formed and mixed with the IR absorber by means of a super-mixer, a hybridizer, etc., to obtain vinyl resin particles of <=1mum average particle diameter contg. the IR absorber having excellent performance and the objective toner for flash fixation contg. the obtd. vinyl resin particles is provided. Styrene, methacrylic ester, divinylbenzene or dimethyacrylate or diacrylate of alkylene glycol is preferably used as the vinyl monomer. The objective developer is provided by combining the toner for developing an electrostatic charge image with a carrier.</p> |
