<p>PURPOSE:To provide a moving picture processing method for accelerating a processing speed and improving transmission and storage efficiency by reducing the number of the motion vectors of a B picture in GOP. CONSTITUTION:The motion vector v passing through the macroblock (m) of the detection object of the B picture of the GOP whose base point and terminating point are an I picture or a P picture positioned in the front and back directions of a time base to the macroblock (m) is assumed. The macroblocks (a) and (b) provided with a minimum error to the macroblock (m) of a retrieval object positioned at the base point position and the terminating position of the motion vector are detected and the motion vector is decided. Then, a distance mv from the macroblock Pa of the P picture or the I picture behind the time base at the position same as the macroblock (m) to the macroblock (a) pointed by the motion vector v is detected as information relating to the motion vector v and the information of the distance mv is encoded, transmitted and stored.</p> |
