PURPOSE:To provide a laser oscillator capable of continuously oscillating short- pulse laser beams for a specific cycle. CONSTITUTION:This embodiment comprises a ring-like optical resonator 1 formed with one partial reflection mirror 2 and a plurality of high reflection mirrors 3a, an excited light source 5 for exciting a laser medium 4 provided within this optical resonator; and a controller 6 for controlling strength of the laser medium excited by exciting means so that it is substantially equal to or slightly smaller than a loss that the optical resonator has. |
