PURPOSE:To inexpensively perform remote monitoring for water infiltration to a communications cable connection part even when an optical cable provided with a pair of metallic conductors is used. CONSTITUTION:Fault sensing modules 611, 612, and 613 are connected in parallel with the pair of metallic conductors connected to a transmitter 50. Each fault sensing module is installed at the connection part of the optical cable, respectively, and a switch is closed when the water infiltration to a cabinet occurs, and the transmitter 50 detects it, and displays by sending the information of flooding to a centralized display device 1 via a remote monitoring device 3. |
