PURPOSE:To enhance the strength of an armor cover and to miniaturize an image forming device by integrally forming one part of the easing of the cooling fan of the image forming device with the armor cover and sharing it with the reinforcing member of the armor cover. CONSTITUTION:The cooling fan 9 being a cross-flow fan exhausting high- temperature air in the image forming device to the outside of a machine is arranged at the upper part of a fixing device. Then, the shape of one part of the upper armor cover 12 is molded so as to be the optimum shape for the outside circumference of the barrel part of a fan casing part 12c generating an air flow by making a proper gap from the fan blade 9c-2 of the fan 9, and the casing for the cooling fan is eliminated. Many reinforcing ribs 12b in parallel with the shaft direction of an impeller 9c are provided on the outside of the casing part 12c. Besides, a rib 12d is integrally extended with the cover 12 as the end plate of the fan easing supporting the bearings 9a and 9b of an impeller shaft 9c-1. |
