Circuit arrangement for detecting the position of a movable component in motor vehicles

A circuit arrangement for detecting the position of a component in motor vehicles which can be moved along a prescribed track uses two sensors to output mutually differing electric signals as a function of the current position of the component. The circuit arrangement has a control unit for evaluating the electric signals. The electric signals form continuous and monotonic signal characteristics, and the signal characteristic of one sensor has gradients which differ from one another per se.
