PURPOSE:To suppress excessive counter-electromotive force caused by a Zener diode employed in a constant current drive control means at the time of switching the exciting windings of a pulse motor even if the allowable loss of the Zener diode is low. CONSTITUTION:When exciting signals Pa-Pd are generated sequentially from a control circuit 30 in order to drive a pulse motor 10 by two-phase exciting system, full-phase OFF signals Qa-Qd are generated from the one-shot circuits 41 in a full-phase OFF signal output circuit 40 at the falling of the exciting signals Pa-Pd. The OR gates 51-54 in a pulse output circuit 50 then deliver any of the full-phase OFF signals Qa-Qd, as gate signals, to AND gates 55-58. In response to the exciting signals Pa-Pd and a gate signal from an OR gate 51, the AND gates 55-58 deliver drive pulse signals Paa-Pdd to the AND gates of a constant current chopper drive circuit 20. |
