PURPOSE:To eliminate induced noise due to current change by turning on a thyrister for full light emission with delay after turning on a thyrister for a trigger and application of a doubled voltage. CONSTITUTION:A main capacitor C1 is charged by a boosting power supply circuit ES, and a discharge tube Xe discharges electric charges to emit light by a trigger signal from a trigger circuit TS. At this time, a voltage doubler circuit VS applies a voltage exceeding a voltage charged on a main capacitor C1 to the discharge tube Xe, a thyrister SCR1 starts a trigger circuit TS and the voltage doubler circuit VS, and a thyrister SCR2 forms a series circuit with the discharge tube Xe and the main capacitor C1. A light emission control circuit LC turns on the thyrister SCR2 with delay of a specified time after turning on the thyrister SCR1. |
