PURPOSE:To lessen the deterioration of a signal and suppress crosstalk by accommodating a socket contact in the hole of a conductive board through an insulator, and connecting the conductive board to a ground pattern. CONSTITUTION:The socket contact 2 of a connector 1 for a parallel board is accommodated in the hole 4 of a conductive board 4 through an insulator 3. This conductive board 4 is connected to the ground pattern of a board through a conductor 5, and its voltage becomes earth voltage. Hereby, the signal from one board is transmitted to the other board through the contact 2, and the contact 2 forms a signal path. Since the conductive board 5 surrounding this signal path in earth condition, the signal path becomes pseudo coaxial structure, and the leakage of electromagnetic waves is prevented, and even in high frequency region, there is little deterioration of signal, so this becomes a connector for a parallel board which suppresses crosstalk. |
