PURPOSE: To provide a treating method of an industrial X-ray film with an automatic treating machine removing a pi-line flaw after treating the industrial X-ray film in a treating soln. CONSTITUTION: In a silver halide industrial X-ray photographic material, at least one gelatine silver halide emulsion layer (a total weight of the silver halide is equivalent to 6-20g silver nitrate per 1m<2> at one side) and at least one non photosensitive protective stress preventive coating are incorporated on at least one side of a supporting body, and a treatment is executed at a stage at which the material is directly exposed to the X-ray and the stage at which the material is treated in an automatic treating machine by developing, fixing, washing and drying, and in the material, at least one kind vinylsulfon compd. as a curing agent is moreover incorporated in at least one layer of its hydrophilic layer, and a development is executed in the developer containing at least one kind alkylphenoxy and/or alkoxypolyalkylene oxyphosphate ester, sulfate ester, alkylcarboxylic acid, sulfonic acid or phosphonic acid and/or there salt as a surfactant and the fixing is executed in the fixing liq. in which at least one kindα-ketocarboxylic acid may be incorporated.
