<p>PURPOSE: To provide less mass than a usual device, to reduce production and maintenance cost, to maximize the efficiency of a cartridge processing system and also to dispense with an expensive and precise track or rail for guide and support. CONSTITUTION: This device 30 straightly moves in cartridge engagement assembly 18 along a prescribed move course VV and supports the assembly 18 in a fixed direction against the move course VV. The device 30 consists of a single or plural slender flexible members 34 to 38 which are fixedly attached to the assembly 18 at least three points 24 to 28, a flexible member engagement device 40 which is fixedly positioned against the move course VV, e.g. a pulley, and a drive device 62 which is connected to operate about at least one slender flexible member.</p> |
