摘要 |
A description is given of a method for reconditioning two-dimensional substrates coated with metal, especially aluminium, the substrates being films, sheets, strips etc. The metal is separated from the substrate and granulated. For this purpose, the metal-coated two-dimensional substrates are, according to the invention, shredded mechanically to give a feedstock. The shredded feedstock is then ground up mechanically in such a way that the metal separates from the substrate and metal granules and a fibrous substrate felt is obtained. A pigment is then produced from the metal or, in particular, aluminium, granules. When mixed with a commercially available binder, the aluminium pigment gives a bright, metallic surface similar to silver.
