PURPOSE: To provide a monitoring method for a program storage type controller to offer a larger quantity of information on the processes of the controller to a programmer or a user. CONSTITUTION: An important internal event of a controller, the error status signals, in particular, are detected by the monitoring method when they occur. These status signals are stored in a status signal memory range 17 in order of their occurrence. When the range 17 is completely used, the oldest status signal is overwritten. |
