PURPOSE:To provide a protective structure by a method wherein the assembly structure between an outer rail and each inner rail for a linear motor is contrived and the improper transverse dislocation of a flat cable is suppressed when the flat cable is slid and moved. CONSTITUTION:A flange wall 22 is extended and formed integrally on the upper wall 21 of an inner rail 20 assembled along the lower part of a left side- face wall 11 at the inside of an outer rail. The flange wall 22 is composed of an inclination part 22a which is inclined and extended from the left edge to the left part and the upper part of the upper wall 21 and of an upper edge part 22b whose cross section is bent and extended to be an L-shape from the upper edge of the inclination part 22a. The surface-side upper edge 23 of the inclination part 22a is situated to the central side in the width direction of the outer rail by a prescribed interval D1 than the inner wall 14b of a protrusion 14, and the surface-side lower edge 24 of the inclination part 22a is situated in the central side in the width direction of the outer rail by a prescribed interval D2 further than the surface-side upper edge 23. |
