PURPOSE:To facilitate setting in the reduced rating operation by setting the exciting current command for an induction motor based on the primary inductance and the no-load terminal voltage whereas setting the rated torque current value based on the rated output, the primary inductance, the exciting inductance and the terminal voltage. CONSTITUTION:An exciting current setting section 11 determines an exciting current set value I0 from a constant L1, terminal voltage V0, and rated frequency Fn according to formula I. A rated torque current setting section 12 determines a rated torque current I2 from the constant L1, the terminal voltage V0, an equivalent exciting inductance M', and rated output Power according to formula II. |
