PURPOSE:To attain the calculation of a constant even during an arithmetic operation including the parentheses or an arithmetic operation where a calculating order is previously set by carrying out the calculation of the constant based on the arithmetic contents and the numerical value stored in a storage means corresponding to a constant key when this key is operated in the modes other than a setting mode. CONSTITUTION:For instance, the working mode is switched to a setting mode by a setting means even during an operation and then a constant key 34 is operated. Thus the arithmetic contents and the numerical which are designated by an arithmetic key 32 and a numerical key 31 operated before the key 34 are stored in a RAM 4 corresponding to the key 34. Then the setting mode is changed to an arithmetic mode and the key 34 is operated again after execution of the calculation. Thus the arithmetic contents and the numerical are read out of the RAM 4 and a constant is calculated. Therefore the constant can be set even during an arithmetic operation including the parentheses or an arithmetic operation where a calculating sequence is previously set and the calculation is carried out based on the calculated constant. |
