PURPOSE:To allow switching to the optimal motor characteristics by turning a speed switching means OFF to drive a motor with full wave under low speed rotation mode whereas turning the speed switching means ON to drive the motor with half wave under high speed rotation mode. CONSTITUTION:In response to input of a PLAY mode signal, a control circuit 16 turns a speed switching transistor(Tr) 14 OFF and turns rotation driving Trs 21-26 ON/OFF to drive a motor with three-phase full-wave thus decreasing the driving current. In response to input of FF or REW mode signal, the control circuit 16 turns the speed switching Tr 14 ON, turns the (first) power supply side rotary driving Trs 21, 23, 25 OFF, turns the (second) ground side rotary driving Trs 22, 24, 26 ON/OFF to drive the motor with three-phase half-wave thus increasing the r.p.m. for load. |
