<p>PURPOSE:To provide a tape recorder applicable to both a digital compact cassette(DCC) and an analog compact cassette(ACC) and capable of smoothly operating an arm-like member even at the time of loading the ACC. CONSTITUTION:A shutter operating means 13 for opening and closing a shutter 1d when its DCC 1 is loaded is equipped with the arm-like member 13b, a shutter operating shaft 13c and a front surface guide part 20, which are provided on the tip side of the member 13b, and a roller-like operations part provided on the shutter operating shaft 13c in a position corresponding to a shutter end surface to be freely rotatable around the operating shaft 13c. The operating part is not brought into contact with a side surface of a locking groove 1k of the DCC 1, and is rotatable between the operating shaft 13c at the time of sliding the shutter 1d, while the front surface guide part 20 is abutted against a thickness part of the ACC when the ACC is inserted, and is not abutted against a side surface part of the shutter 1d when the DCC 1 is inserted.</p> |
