<p>PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic toner compsn. which is suitable for a high-speed copying machine with low heat fixing and has good balance in fixing and offset properties and quickly rising of electrification by adding a hydroxynaphthalenecarboxylic acid deriv. or hydroxyquinoline carboxylic acid deriv. to a binder resin comprising a mixture resin of two kinds of ethylene monomers having different physical properties. CONSTITUTION:In this negative charge electrophotographic toner compsn., a mixture resin of an ethylene polymer (L) having 2000-50000 weight average mol.wt. (Mw), 0-6 KOH mg/g acid value, and 55-75 deg.C glass transition temp. and an ethylene polymer (H) having 100000-600000 Mw and 20-85 KOH mg/g acid value is used as the binder resin. A hydroxynaphthalenecarboxylic acid deriv. and/or hydroxyquinoline carboxylic acid deriv. is added by 0.03-5 pts.wt. to the binder resin. By this method, the rising property for electrification can be improved and the charge amt. of the toner can be easily controlled.</p> |
