<p>PURPOSE:To enable a semiconductor integrated circuit itself to recognize the generation of a signal by an internally generated internal signal even in the case that the signal input/output terminal is connected to a low potential with a polarity not generating the signal and to a low impedance. CONSTITUTION:A reset signal input/output terminal 1 to which an external reset request signal REQ is inputted from the outside of a semiconductor integrated circuit 10 and from which an internally generated internal reset request signal TWD is outputted to the outside, a reset signal input circuit 3 which is connected to the reset signal input/output terminal 1 through a protective resistor 4 an generates a reset signal RST to reset the semiconductor integrated circuit 10 at the time of input of the external reset request signal REQ to the reset signal input/output terminal 1, a first N-channel transistor TR 6 which has the source connected to the earth voltage source of the semiconductor integrated circuit 10 and has the drain connected to the end on the side of the terminal 1 of the protective resistor 4, and a second N- channel TR 7 which has the source connected to the earth voltage source of the circuit 10 and has the drain connected to the end on the side of the reset signal input circuit 3 of the resistor 4 are provided.</p> |
