PURPOSE: To provide a graphic accelerator which is attainable to a high performance at a relatively low cost by conquering various restrictions of a system. CONSTITUTION: A graphic accelerator is provided with a command pre-processor 30 which converts the format of variously different geometric input data into a standard format, a set of floating point processors 40-43 which are optimized with respect to three-dimensional graphics functions, and a set of line drawing processors 50-54 which simultaneously execute edge walking and scan interpolating plotting functions on different parts of one triangle. |
