Described is a device for fastening a lateral or upper cover plate (6, 7) to a flat radiator (1) equipped with a convector plate (5) shaped in the form of a meander. To fasten the lateral covering plate (6), there are provided two fastening elements (8, 8') which possess a clamping plate (9, 9') capable of being placed against the outer surface of the convector plate (5) and to which there are attached two clips (10, 10') gripping, in the form of a hook, above and below the edge (13, 14) of the convector plate (5), respectively. Fastening plates (12, 12') are attached to the clamping plates (9, 9') in a position above and below the connection pieces (2, 4) of the flat radiator (1), respectively. Fastening elements (16), which are provided with supporting shoulders (19) and serve to support an upper covering plate (7), are constructed with the same clipping on system. <IMAGE>
