An object is created to contain other objects that refer to folders, places, maps, people drawers, shelf, and trash. A created container can then be accessed by a multitude of users. Containers provide default user operations including cut, copy, paste, drag, drop, selection, move, and the ability to back out of operations already performed. A container can also have a window, frame, thumbnail or icon presentation on a display. Containers also support multiple presentations of the same container. For example, a folder and a rolodex may be displayed for the same container object.
