PURPOSE:To shorten transmission time by selecting a base station, which is closest to the present position of a mobile station and provided with satisfactory electric field conditions and the least error correction amount of data, and transmitting an answer back signal to this mobile station. CONSTITUTION:An active state signal Mf, to which the data of an existing base station B2 are added, transmitted by a mobile station M is received by plural base station radio equipments B1 and B2. The signal Mf received by the respective radio equipments B1 and B2 is sent through respective corresponding radio control parts 11 and 21 to respective signal processing parts 12 and 22, demodulated and afterwards sent to a CPU as respective activate state data Md1 and Md2. The CPU checks the presence/absence of the data of the base station B2 added to the respective data Md1 and Md2, selects the processing part 22 corresponding to the base station B2, for which the data of the base station B2 are read, and outputs answer back data Md2 to the processing part 22. The processing part 22, which receives the data Md2, performs code conversion to the data Md2 and transmits an answer back signal Mfa from the base station B2 through the control part 21 to the mobile station M. |
