PURPOSE:To output sound information from a sound reproducing device in synchronism with the display of the picture information of a picture reproducing device and to miniaturize the picture reproducing device. CONSTITUTION:In this picture reproducing system, the picture reproducing device 10 and the sound reproducing device 20 are independently separated and a memory staring and holding means 12 storing and holding the information for sound reproduction corresponding to the picture information, a remote control signal generation means 15 and a transmission means 16 transmitting the information for sound reproduction to the sound reproducing device are prodided in the device 10. Also, the sound the reproducing device 20 is provided with a reception means 26, a signal conversion means 25 and a sound reproducing means 23. |
