PURPOSE:To automatically select the optimum combination of the kind and the position of an orifice in a piping system by using a Boltzmann machine which is one of the models of a neural network relating to the method of selecting the orifice for reducing the pressure pulsation of the piping system due to the pressure fluctuation of a pressurizing source such as a reciprocating compressor or the like. CONSTITUTION:An unit matrix UM for indicating the kind of the orifice and the position where the orifice can be inserted to is defined and the energy function of a network is defined by the weighting addition of a first function to be minimum when one unit Uik which is '1' is present in each row and each column of the unit matrix UM and a second function for evaluating a difference between a pulsation pressure value and a reference value. The kind and position of the orifice are decided by the state of the unit Uik at the time of convergence by the method of simulated annealing. |
