PURPOSE:To easily and securely perform the connection between the base of a contact and the core of a coaxial cable. CONSTITUTION:This connector is so made as to connect the base 4 of a contact 3 to the core 7 of a coaxial cable 6 within the body 2. In this connector for a coaxial cable, an insertion hole 5 for the said core 7 is made on the axis of the base 4 of the contact 3, and the periphery of the base 4 of this contact 3 is tapered, with its diameter reduced gradually toward its end. And, this is so constitued that the base 4 of the contact 3 is deformed and that the core 7 inserted in the insertion hole 5 and the inside periphery of the insertion hole 5 are pressure-fitted when an flexible sleeve 10 to fit with the base 4 by taper is fitted in the base 4 of the contact 3. |
